Folio (370 × 260 mm), pp. [2], 20, [2], plus chromolithograph title and 39 sheets of plates (some double page or with more than one image), all mounted as issued, 2 plain plates and 31 leaves of explanation (some with onlaid illustrations and vignettes). A handful of leaves with short tears or minor fraying and marginal duststaining, but generally clean. Original embossed leather. Recased and rebacked preserving the original spine. Modern folding case. A good copy.
