78 small albumen print photographs (55 mm high, variable widths), mounted in 5 sequences on thick card mounts (76 × 60 mm), joined, concertina-style with linen. Two sequences somewhat faded. Pencil numbering and notes, ink manuscript titles to three sets.
A delightful set of anonymous sequential photographs of ballet steps, presumably designed as a teaching aid, capturing a dancer’s movements broken down frame by frame, rather in the manner of Eadweard Muybridge.
