First edition, with the publisher’s inscription to the French satirical poet Laurent Tailhade. This is a publication for the fourth year of Almanach du Bibliophile, Pelletan’s first experiment with book publishing. It includes illustrations by Grasset, the Swiss decorative artist working in Paris in the early twentieth-century and considered a pioneer in Art Nouveau design.
