4to (285 × 170 mm), 42 leaves (each of a folded sheet), captions in manuscript, small red stamps. Scattered worming to all leaves, sometimes repaired. Later drab paper wrappers, folding case (the latter worn).
The naive but elegant watercolours here include ginger, eggplant, hot pepper, strawberry, mulberry, lily, carnation, marigold, vetch, hypericum and orchid.
