Sole edition: ‘a severe satire, not destitute of spirit, but totally so of candour’ (Critical Review) on Richard Brinsley Sheridan, while Pitt is complimented ‘in the highest strains of adulation’. Oxford DNB states that the work first appeared in 1795 and was then reissued with a postscript the following year. ESTC records but the one version, and the published reviews all date from 1796.
