~ The Love of Gain: a Poem. Imitated from the thirteenth Satire of Juvenal... Second Edition. London: Printed for J. Bell... 1799.

4to (252 × 209 mm), pp. [4], 51, [1]; original Latin printed on facing pages; a little creased and marked in places; disbound, upper corner of title cut away.

Second edition, rare (NLS and North Carolina only), an exact reprint of the first edition. Not, as Oxford DNB suggests, a translation, but a modern poem after Juvenal, with references to contemporary figures (Erskine, the King, Burke, etc.). It is dedicated to Charles James Fox, on his ‘Retirement from Public Life’. Jackson, p. 235.
