8vo, pp. [xvi], 448, [8] (Postscript). Title within double-ruled border. Some very light browing, mostly marginal. Contemporary sprinkled panelled calf, spine gilt, red morocco label. Label chipped with loss of one letter, joints cracked but firm. A good copy.
Second edition, published in the same year as the first, of this protest against the policy of gifting forfeited lands away by the crown and proposing precedents for their resumption. Contains the 8-page postscript clarifying an apparent criticism of the Duke of Leeds.
