2 vols. bound together, 12mo, pp. [ii], 292; 288, bound without sectional title to vol. 2 as often. Nineteenth-century half calf, marbled boards with binder’s ticket (Dolling, Edgware Road), sometime rebacked to style. An excellent copy.

First edition, a complete run (there was no issue for March 1832). Cobbett’s earlier Political Register had been denounced as “two-penny trash”, a name he gladly adopted for this later work.
