2 vols., 8vo, pp. xxxii, 340; iv, 336. Original publisher’s quarter cloth with drab boards, original printed spine labels. Slightly rubbed and bumped, labels with minor loss, traces of library labels removed from foot of spines. An excellent copy.

First edition in English, very scarce, of this translation of De l’agriculture et de la condition des agriculteurs en Irlande et dans la Grande Bretagne (1840), based on the parliamentary commission of 1833-6. The first volume is entirely devoted to Ireland and the second to Great Britain. The second volume contains much of banking interest in addition to the agricultural materials.
