8vo, pp. 72. Wood-engraved title and 3 full-page caricature illustrations.Light browning. Nineteenth-century half calf, sometime rebacked to style. A very good copy.
First edition of this very scarce exposé of individuals receiving state pensions and other favours, with marvellous woodcut illustrations. The engraved title gives “No 1” at its foot. The British Library record also gives a second issue of the same year.
