Some light browning and minor spotting as usual. Nineteenth-century polished calf, spine with 5 raised bands, gilt in compartments, red morocco label. A few trivial blemishes only. Presentation inscription dated 1900 and armorial bookplate of the Newcastle ship-builder Henry F. Swan. A handsome copy.
