[AULNOY, Madame d’.] Le Prince Désir. [N.p., N.d., but probably Caen: Chalopin, c.1800-1810]
12mo (142 × 84 mm.), pp. 12. Title within woodcut border, attractive woodcut illustration and vignettes on verso of last leaf within woodcut border. Stitched as issued. Slightly spotted, but a good crisp copy of an ephemeral production printed on paper of indifferent quality.
Rare chapbook style fairy-tale romance, which has the same design as the booklets published by Pierre Chalopin who worked in Caen around 1800-1810. The text is probably derived from that of Madame d’Aulnoy (1650/1-1705).
