Small 8vo (146 × 92 mm.), pp. [viii], 344, gatherings V (pp. 305-320) and X (pp. 321-335) transposed, but complete. Title within typographical border. Light waterstain affecting upper portions of pages to p. 80, otherwise very clean and crisp. Contemporary limp vellum, spine lettered in large early manuscript (now indistinct), endpapers formed of leaves of contemporary printer's waste, now lifted, ties partially intact. An attractive copy.
A confessor's manual arranged according to the Scotist system favoured by the Franciscans: a system named after the thirteenth-century Oxford theologian John Duns Scotus. It was first printed in 1713.
Palau 18233; COPAC lists a copy in the National Library of Scotland, apparently the only UK location of any edition. This edition not in OCLC/RLG.
